I work for various solo companies but I also collaborate with several advertising and digital agencies to provide content on time-sensitive projects, whenever the need arises. Currently I would describe myself as a shopping and lifestyle writer, but here are some other examples from collaborations with solopreneur companies.

Culture Cuppa, a language and culture school, needed a one-off newsletter with around five items. Click the logo to read one of the stories.
Feedback: “Morwenna recently supported me in creating content for my email newsletter. She quickly understood the target audience, the brand, the tone of voice for readers and the kind of articles that would work well. I appreciated her creativity in researching and finding interesting links, and how she responded quickly and efficiently with the copy I needed. Thank you Morwenna, I highly recommend Wordfairy.”

SENsational Tutors joined forces with nutritionist Debora Mazittelli to create combined maths and cookery lessons, and needed someone to write a supporting article. Click the logo to read the feature.
Feedback: “I approached Morwenna to write a blog article on the practical use of maths while baking with kids. Morwenna is an excellent listener, very professional and with a natural capacity for creating beautiful stories. The article was exactly how I wanted it to be, and it was a pleasure to work with her.”

Blue Crystal London, a London-based property management company, was updating its website with a whole new design, and that meant new words too. Click the logo to see the gorgeous new website.
Feedback: “Morwenna puts in the time and effort to understand her clients, their needs and their business. She is a talented writer and delivered exactly what we wanted. She’s also a pleasure to work with and made the whole process easy, efficient and pleasant. I really enjoyed working with Mo and highly recommend her.”

Sun & Sky Coaching was updating its website. Owner Samantha had sourced a designer and photographer and needed content to fill the lovely new pages.
Feedback: “I met Morwenna at a networking event and instantly knew that I would be working her at some point; her warmth and bubbly personality drew me in. When I was updating my website, she gave me sound advice, listened to my ideas, and created great copy. She absolutely captured my message, and I know that I will be working with Morwenna again in the future – maybe when I get around to writing my book!”

Kittyholmes had a list of blogs to write and research to go alongside the beautiful cushions and accessories on its website, and reached out for help. Superlucky for Wordfairy, who already knew and loved the brand, developed by owner Kate Holmes.
Feedback: “I was feeling completely stuck when I reached out to Morwenna and my only regret is that I didn't contact her sooner. She really understands how to capture the 'voice' of a brand, and how to weave the well researched and relevant facts she unearths into an engaging and beautifully written piece. Mo is incredibly professional, delivers to deadline and truly cares that I'm happy with what she's produced. Working with her is a breath of fresh air and I can absolutely recommend her; I look forward to many collaborations in the future!”

Isabelle Scott design consultancy was updating its website. Alongside new content was the need for a revamped ‘stories’ section, with ‘before and after’ case studies.
Feedback: “Mo had a clear understanding of our objectives and brief, and she had a very professional approach. We love the result and enjoy reading back about what we do, who we are and what we produce. She put into words what we had been unable to express, got the job done, and the whole process was a pleasant experience. We felt we were in excellent hands’

This is a small selection of the companies with whom I have worked. Some businesses require non-disclosure forms, or don't wish to let it be known that their content is ghost-written. In other cases. I have worked for bigger agencies with branded clients, where referrals take the place of testimonials.
